This research proposal introduces the concept of sustainable development in manufacturing CNOs. The goal of this project is to fully characterize sustainable CNOs from the points of view of the KPIs and performance measures, identify and model the business processes characterizing and ensuring sustainability in designing a new or in extending an existing CNO. The sub-goals to be ad-dressed are:

  • Development of a Reference Model for Sustainable CNOs (Leader: INSA),
  • Identification of Collaborative Strategies for Sustainable Value Creation (Leader: INSA),
  • Development of a Performance Measurement Approach for Sustainable CNOs (Leader: EPFL),
  • Development of a Partner Selection Approach for Sustainable CNOs (Leader: EPFL)
